AA. VV. - Punk 77-07 (The italian tribute to 30 years of r'n'r swindle)



Quest'anno il punk compie trenta anni, e anche la scena italiana, attraverso un autorevole portavoce come la Tre Accordi Records, ha deciso di coinvolgere tutte le più importanti band punkrock e rock'n'roll italiane in un tributo ai più significativi gruppi della scena internazionale. Sono 23 le band, esecutrici di 23 brani estremamente famosi che ripercorrono 30 anni di punkrock.

Si parte con gli STP che propongono una versione decisamente energica di "Vietnamese Baby" dei New York Dolls, ma altri grandi nomi hanno prestato la loro voce in questo album, come i Taxi con "Victims of the vampire" degli Slaughter and The Dogs, o i Transex con "Fascist Dictator" dei Cortinas.I Prozac+ hanno prestato la loro versione live di "What do I get?" dei Buzzcocks e rimanendo tra le formazioni in pista da molto tempo, anche i SenzaBenza non potevano mancare, e infatti appaiono con "Suzy is a headbanger" dei Ramones. Da sottolineare sono "One Chord Wonders" degli Adverts proposta dai bolognesi Valentines e "Lonesome town" dei Cramps proposta dagli Hormonas.

La lista è lunghissima e mostra veramente il meglio della scena punkrock italica. Un plauso alla Tre Accordi Records per aver riunito in questo progetto un numero così alto di band di valore.
